AT - Morgans at the Beach pt. 2

Daisy’s eyes were widen, not with fear, but shock. How could she possibly run into him here, this place was nowhere near his home. Her ex and his new woman were standing in front of her.

“Oh my, you actually dated this…woman~?” The skinny, red hair woman asked, her voice sounded as if she were disgusted and in disbelief. She clung to Daisy’s ex-boyfriend, her body pressed tightly against him.

Daisy muffled a growl, not that she wanted her ex back, but it was kind of a warning sign that she picked up from living with the Morgans. She was trying to warn her ex that if he hung around for to much longer, she wasn’t going to be responsible for what happens.

To Daisy amazement, Travis was now standing beside her sitting form. She didn’t even hear him when he walk up beside her. Not that stepping on sand was loud enough for any human to hear anyway.

“Are you being bothered?” Travis asked, his eyes a bright green, his skin a dark tan. Daisy’s breath caught in her throat and Travis took that as his answer. His blood began to boil. He just wasn't his self today, maybe it was the long road trip to get to the beach that had him stressed.

“Listen dude, move along, this is none of your concern.” Daisy’s ex blurted out, he balled his fist, preparing to fight.

“Please, you move along before you get severely hurt.” Travis growled out, glaring down at the smaller man in front of him.

“Oh, we‘ll see who gets hurt!!” And the man charged Travis, throwing a right hook towards his face. Before the man knew what had hit him, Travis had grabbed his fist, snapping his wrist, picked him up and slammed him into the sand below. It was to fast for anyone to see, so fast that none of the other beach goers even noticed there was a fight going on. Daisy’s ex screamed out in pain as he stood up and took off running, his new little red hair girlfriend following behind, yelling at him about what had just happened.

Daisy looked up at her man, she noticed that his eyes had return to normal. “Travis…?” She spoke, not sure of what to say, in her mind, she wanted to scream of pure joy but then again, she knew this was out of character for Travis. He would never hurt someone intentionally, especially if they were weaker than him. He sat down beside his blonde headed mate, resting his head on her shoulder. His breath heavier than normal.

“Sorry I didn‘t get here a little earlier.” He spoke. Was that his problem? He was upset because he didn’t get here sooner. No, that couldn't be it. There was to much anger still dwelling within him.

“No, you got here jus‘ in time. I was ‘bout t‘ knock his lights out.” Daisy smiled, her fingers caressing his cheek. He grinned against her shoulder, kissing it lightly.

Then, there was a sudden ‘coo’ that broke Travis and Daisy’s attention. Glancing down beside them, they went into shock. They had both forgotten about Harley. Daisy quickly scooped the seven month old baby into her arms.

“Oh my gosh! Harley! Where are your parents?” Daisy asked, and all the little girl could do was laugh.

“Well… I told them I‘d watch after her while Romie was in the ocean. But now that you mention it, I haven‘t seen her nor Hiei in awhile.” Travis scratched the top of his head in confusion as he scanned the beach. He saw his children and Corey and Naomi but his sister and her mate were gone.

His eyebrow began to twitch as a sudden thought passed through his mind.

“I know where they are…” He got up and made his way to the water. Daisy could already see the fumes, and then she too realized where they had run off to and that made her giggle.

“Well little Harley, if Travis doesn‘t interrupt t’ soon ya might be getting’ a sibling.” Daisy laughed at the confused baby girls face.

Romie and Hiei were sitting in the small cave, Romie was leaning against his chest as he leaned against the wall. The tide rose and fell around them. It was nice, to be alone together, finally. Riding in a truck full of screaming kids and adults was enough to drive anyone nuts.

“We better get back.” Romie stated, straighten her form so she could look him in the eyes. He just grinned back at her, his fingers playing with her hair. It was getting long.

“Are you that worried about our child?” He asked, Romie shook her in disagreement.

“No, I‘m worried about the one watching over her and then looking up to see that we‘re missing.” She grinned, knowing that Travis would be pissed if he figured out that the baby was dumped on him so Romie and Hiei could get away for a few hours. So she felt guilty, Travis was the one who drove the entire way so it was only fair that he get a couple of hours to rest. Romie should be the one watching over everything.

Soon, there was a disturbance at the caves entrance. A few rocks had fallen into the water. The couple looked up to see Travis peaking from the top of the cave. His eyes burning with anger. Romie let out a squeak and sank into the water, from her eyes to the top of her head was the only thing showing. Hiei didn’t blink, he just looked at the halfbreed man from the corner of his eyes.

“We‘re about to head back to the hotel room. You need to come get your daughter if you both plan on staying on the beach longer.” Romie notice something about Travis, normally, he wouldn’t have minded watching Harley. But. There’s was something wrong, he seemed tensed.

“We‘re coming.” Hiei growled and Travis disappeared. Romie rose out of the water.

“Hiei, go get our daughter, I‘m going to find a liquor store. Travis needs to unwind. And I know just the thing he needs. Some 'Ogre Killer'. Chu got me dog ass drunk off that shit, that was probably the night we got pregnant.” Romie winked, peeling her swimsuit off her skin only to allow the fabric to slap back against it. Hiei’s eye twitched…

“You really know how to get a man stirred up… both me and Travis.”
